Light Emergence
Warming, strengthening, structural flow practice punctuated with peak poses ( all levels welcome). Alchemy of focussed movement with somatic integration within framework of asanas cultivating sensory nourishment towards guided relaxation in Yoga Nidra.
Liz is studying ‘somatic experiencing’ to integrate sensitive, inclusive yoga practises which can be received by all.

“Yoga is about clearing away whatever is in us that prevents our living in the most full way”, Cybele Tomlinson A Yoga Workshop to welcome in the New Year, setting intentions, exploring a physical, creative vinyasa flow with mudras, breathwork and a guided relaxation to close. Mindful that January is mid-winter the start of a new year is a perfect opportunity to reflect upon what came before and focus on creating space in mind and body for what is to come.

About Lorna FisherFormer Clinical Negligence and then Human Rights Lawyer, now Yoga Therapist 580hr BCYT/NCIP and Yoga Teacher 200hr CYT with 20 years of teaching experience throughout London to children, teenagers and adults via private, group and corporate classes. Lorna offers creative vinyasa flow sequences for all, irrespective of experience, with time spent exploring breath and alignment. Everyone is welcome and she aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment within which she invites balancing strength with flexibility and action with relaxation. Lorna’s teaching is pragmatic and grounded in years of practice with an emphasis on having fun, being curious and feeling better physically and emotionally. As a yoga therapist with a special interest in Parkinson’s Disease, cancer, anxiety, menopause and sports performance Lorna is in the unique position of understanding and teaching the therapeutic benefits of yoga backed by evidence-based science. New Year Alignment and Power Breathing with Yuri

In this two-hours of yoga workshop we will explore the importance of alignment in Asana practice (the yoga postures), based on Hatha Yoga. Also we will focus on the importance of breathing step by step throughout in this workshop.
Workshop focus:

Improve your posture and alignment by correcting the position of pelvis and with better alignment in Asana practice.
- Understand the importance of your breathing (Pranayama).
- Use your breaths to bring more flow to Vinyasa.
- Strengthening core muscles.
- Learn how to apply Bandhas (Pelvic floor and abdominal muscles control).

About YuriYuri is a qualified yoga teacher from Japan with decade of experience in London.
Yuri’s workshop focus on strengthening core muscles, improving posture and developing mental and physical balance. She also utilise breathing techniques as a crucial element of holistic yoga practice. Her aim is to help students to develop an enhanced sense of well being from their practice of yoga. I am used to teaching people of differing ages and abilities and enjoy the challenge of adapting my teaching style and lesson plans to cater for the individual needs of her students.
