Let go and glow - A women's day retreat in the heart of London
11:00am — 5:00pm | All Levels
An urban women’s day retreat with juicy offerings such as elemental yoga, gong bath, cacao, pampering and much more! Come and join us!
Just before Blue Monday, go on a connecting journey of self-discovery, healing and detoxification on our relaxing women’s day retreat. Guided with love from two experienced soul sisters, Rosie and Theresa, gently come back to yourself and give yourself the much needed rest that all women need and deserve. You’ll experience the exceptional powers of elemental yoga, movement medicine, ceremonial cacao, guided meditation, gong baths, sound therapy, sharing circles and journaling. Your soul will feel nourished inside and out with a delicious vegan lunch and snacks throughout the day.
Dusting off the cobwebs of 2019, with lots of New Year’s resolutions on our to-do list and some rather tight pants after one too many mince pies, we face January! This can be a tricky time for lots of us. After the storm has settled from all the extensive Christmas celebrations and time spent with family, we often feel a little deflated and like our energy reserves are running close to empty. This is why it is so important to be able to take a step back and give some tender loving care back to ourselves. And that is exactly what you’ll achieve on this soothing day retreat.
You’ll also make your own homemade beauty products which we’ll use on the retreat on a mini-pampering session. The self-love will continue as you take these magical gifts home with you along with a goody bag full of treats!
This women’s day retreat is all about you. It is all about allowing yourself to relax, to give and to receive in a playful and tender manner. The space will be held with the utmost respect and love for every sister and the whole collective. We will create a delicious bubble of safety, non-judgement and connection, so that each one of us can unfold and blossom fully. Come with an open heart and an open mind and be prepared to receive.
We believe that the healing power of women’s circles should be available to as many women as possible. We are offering two places heavily subsided for those who are financially struggling.
On the day of the event:
Please note that yoga mats, blankets and props are provided by the venue. We recommend you to wear loose and comfortable clothing and please bring a journal with you, in case you want to write down any insights or thoughts. Please also let us know about any food allergies or intolerances in advance.
Gong bath contraindications:
Gong baths are not recommended for pregnancies in the first trimester (due to the unstable nature of pregnancies within this period), individuals with pacemakers or metal implants (due to resonance), epilepsy or any form of a serious mental health condition.
Get in touch directly with Rosie at email@example.com or Theresa at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.
About Rosie & Theresa
Rosie is a kind and gentle yoga teacher who will help you discover your potential through the moving meditation of yoga and connection with the 5 elements: Earth, water, fire, air and space. Elemental yoga is a combination of Hatha yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and meditation harnessing the power of the elements. Rosie’s approach is holistic and creative. Drawing on her experiences through her travels, her work as a creative writer, and her love for nature and the outdoors, you’ll be left feeling grounded and calm.
Theresa is a triple water sign and a highly empathetic and intuitive soul. The odd tear is never far away as her emotions run very deep. She developed her massage and healing skills when she first arrived in the UK, from her native home of Austria. She qualified as a gong practitioner, after hearing this mystical instrument at a gong bath in London. The sound captured her instantly! She has since deepened her spiritual practice by attending regular workshops and events. She feels a deep calling to move into ceremonial work and help women connect with each other and most importantly, themselves.
