Anel is a compassionate, nurturing, and uplifting Ashtanga Yoga teacher and a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F). Her journey with yoga and meditation began in 2011, leading her to the very roots of Ashtanga Yoga in India, where she immersed herself for extended periods. A student of R. Sharath Jois, her practice also draws upon the wisdom of other esteemed teachers, including R. Saraswathi Jois, Hamish Hendry, Sharmila Desai, Ajay Tokas, Anthony Carlisi, Laruga Glaser, Ty Landrum, and Eddie Stern.

Beyond asana (postures), Anel’s teachings are informed by a deep understanding of the nervous system, anatomy, and a keen awareness of intersectionality. She is committed to creating a supportive space where students are empowered to make informed decisions based on their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, blending ancient wisdom with contemporary insights.

Anel has taught individuals from diverse backgrounds over the years, skillfully adapting her practices to suit individual needs, ages, and abilities.
